Influence the Value of Your Home with Successful Staging

Any season of the year is a great time to remind property owners about the benefits of Home Staging. Every year, there is a rise of homes being listed on the real estate market, so it’s important to do what you can to increase the chances of your home standing out in the crowd. Having your home professionally staged increases the likelihood that your home will be sold quickly and at a premium.

A new survey from the National Association of Realtors® shows that 83% of buyers’ agents say that home staging makes it easier for buyers to visualize a property as their future home, according to NAR’s 2019 Profile of Home Staging .

Sellers’ agents report more value added from home staging: 

  • 22% reported an increase of 1 to 5% in dollar value offered by buyers

  • 17% reported an increase of 6 to 10%

  • 5% reported an increase of 11 to 15%

  • 2% reported an increase of 16 to 20%

  • 0% sellers’ agents reported a negative impact from home staging
